Kathak Artist | Choreographer | Educator Shivangi is a classically trained Kathak dancer, rooted in both the Lucknow and Jaipur gharanas. A disciple of Guru Shama Bhate and trained under legends including Pt. Birju Maharaj, she brings decades of embodied practice to her craft. With a Master’s in Kathak and national recognition from India’s Ministry of Culture, her performances have graced global stages from New York to Singapore. Now based in Singapore, Shivangi offers on-demand courses that blend rigour, grace, and storytelling—opening the world of Kathak to new generations, wherever they are.
